From Fr. Steven

I am in Boston this week at the Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes (CEEP) Conference. The Cathedral is a member of CEEP, and the conference brings together a variety of leaders from across the church.

The Rev. Steven Lee
Vicar

Can you help make Crafts at the Cathedral a success?

An active committee is already hard at work planning the Congregation’s chief fundraiser, Crafts at the Cathedral, December 6 – 8, 2019.  Funds from last year’s successful show enabled the Congregation to make grants to Cathedral Community Cares as well as the ACT program.  We would love to be able to do even more outreach through proceeds from this event.

Exhibitor recruitment is well underway and we are asking for your help.  Perhaps you know a fine artisan who might want to be an exhibitor.  If you would refer your talented friends to www.craftsatthecathedral.org they will learn more and decide it they should apply.  Applications are made through www.zapplication.org  and are due March 31.  If you have any questions, email wardens@saintsaviour.org

Newcomers Brunch—February 24

If you are new to our church community and looking for a spiritual home here at the Cathedral, come to St. Saviour Chapel after the 11:00 a.m. service for a light brunch. You will hear why people join, learn more about the Congregation’s programs and ask any question you want.

It’s Mardi Gras -- Sunday, March 3!

The Hospitality Committee is putting together a yummy and fun Mardi Gras luncheon.  It will take place on Sunday, March 3.  Last year in addition to jambalaya and gumbo, there was made-to-order French Toast.   Masks and costumes are optional.  Mardi Gras will take the place of the March “Second Sunday” lunch. So mark your calendars.

Thank you—A Stewardship Campaign wrap-up March 10, 10:00 a.m. Cathedral House

On March 10 we will be thanking all who pledged for the year 2019 with a lovely brunch between the services, from 10 – 11.   Come and celebrate your collective generosity which will make 2019 another banner year for The Congregation of Saint Saviour.  If you haven’t made a pledge, please come anyway.  Stewardship cards will be available.
