Holy Cross Monastery (https://holycrossmonastery.com), located in West Park, NY, is the mother house of the Order of the Holy Cross, an Anglican religious order inspired by the Benedictine tradition. The monks pray 5 times a day, and we are all welcome to join them in saying the daily offices and sharing the Eucharist. The main building was completed in 1904 and sits on 26 acres overlooking the Hudson River, across from Hyde Park. It can be reached by taking Metro North to Poughkeepsie followed by a cab ride. Driving directions as well as additional information about accommodations, meal times, and the service schedule is available on the Holy Cross website. There is no food available after dinner at 6:00 p.m., but a small refrigerator is available for use by guests if needed.
