Día de los Muertos: A Virtual Family Workshop

This enriching program introduces children to Día de los Muertos through a storybook reading, a close (virtual) look at a special window within the Cathedral, and an art activity to make skeleton creatures. Recommended for children ages 4-8 years old.

Materials required for art project: straws, pipe cleaners/colored wire (at least two), scissors, small paper cup, 4-8 small beads with holes, markers.

Registered families can collect their own materials or pick up a package of free materials from the Cathedral’s Visitor Center during the Cathedral’s open hours anytime before October 23rd.

This program will take place via Zoom, and log-in information will be sent out before the program.

Tickets are $5/child.
